Vehicle Sharing
Share a vehicle with family members or other trusted users and choose viewer or editor rights.
What does this feature do?
Vehicle Sharing lets a PRO owner invite another user to a vehicle. Shared users can either view entries or edit them, depending on the selected role.
Where can I find it?
- Open Settings.
- Go to Vehicles.
- Open the context menu for the vehicle you want to share.
- Choose the sharing action from the vehicle menu.
Requirements
- The vehicle owner needs PRO.
- The invited person needs an account to accept the invite.
- A network connection is needed for invite delivery and sync.
Steps
- Open Settings > Vehicles.
- Open the vehicle context menu.
- Choose the sharing action and enter the email address of the invited user.
- Select whether the user should be viewer or editor.
- Send the invite and wait until the invited user accepts it in their account.
FAQ
Why is sharing hard to find?
It currently lives in the vehicle context menu in Settings because sharing belongs to vehicle administration, not daily logging.
Who can start sharing?
Only the vehicle owner with PRO can send invites.
Can a shared user join with a free account?
Yes, invited users can accept with a free account if the owner has PRO.
