Vehicle Media & Documents

Store additional vehicle photos and important documents in one place and keep them available for the currently selected vehicle.

What does this feature do?

Vehicle Media lets you add extra vehicle images and separate vehicle documents such as registration or inspection files. The cover image stays separate, while this area is meant for day-to-day records and supporting files.

Where can I find it?

  • Open the dashboard and use the media shortcut for the active vehicle.
  • Or open Settings > Vehicles and use the vehicle context actions.
  • You can also open the vehicle edit screen and choose the media management entry there.

How do images work?

  1. Open Vehicle Media for the active vehicle.
  2. Choose Add image for a single upload or select multiple images in one run.
  3. Watch the upload progress if you use batch upload.
  4. If needed, use Cancel upload to stop the remaining files.
  5. Open an image preview inside the app to confirm the right file before deleting it.

How do documents work?

  1. Open the documents section inside Vehicle Media.
  2. Select the document type first.
  3. Use Add document and choose a supported file.
  4. After upload, the document appears in the current vehicle list and can be removed later if you have permission.

Sharing rights

  • Owner: can view, upload, and delete images and documents.
  • Editor: can also view, upload, and delete images and documents.
  • Viewer: can open and read media, but cannot add or delete anything.
  • Guest: can only use the cover image flow, not additional media.

Limits by account

  • Guest: no additional images and no vehicle documents.
  • Free: up to 3 images and 1 document per vehicle.
  • PRO: up to 20 images and 10 documents per vehicle.
  • Document size depends on the account tier and oversized files are blocked before they should become a stable entry.

Typical issues and what to do

The upload seems slow

Large images, a slow network, or many selected files can increase upload time. Wait for the progress state to finish before closing the screen.

I cancelled a batch upload

Already completed files stay uploaded. Remaining files are skipped and the app shows a partial result.

I cannot delete or upload anything

Check whether you are in guest mode or only have viewer access on a shared vehicle. In those cases, media are read-only or unavailable.

A file is rejected

Check the account limits, file size, file type, and your current network connection. If the file is too large or invalid, the upload should not create a stable item.
