Trip Recording
Automatically record trips with GPS and continue cleanly through stops, pauses, and resumes.
What does this feature do?
Trip Recording starts and continues drives in the background, shows live trip state on the dashboard, and saves the completed trip when the session ends. It is designed to pause cleanly at stops and continue when movement returns.
Where can I find it?
- Open Settings > Trip Recording.
- Enable trip recording and automatic trip recording if you want trips to start from detected movement.
- Watch the live trip card on the dashboard during a drive.
Requirements
- Location access must be granted.
- Background location must stay allowed for reliable automatic recording.
- For OBD-enhanced trips, the optional OBD add-on must be active.
Steps
- Open Settings and enable Trip Recording.
- Optional: enable Automatic Trip Recording.
- Start driving and check the live trip card on the dashboard.
- At stops the session can pause automatically.
- When movement returns, the trip continues and is saved automatically after completion.
